Did you know the Fall is the best time to plant a native garden here in Sacramento? In this two-part workshop, you will learn how to design a native garden and then have a hands-on opportunity to design your garden in time to plant this Fall. During part one, you will learn basic design principles, best ecological landscape practices, and how to do your own site analysis to prepare for designing and laying out your garden in part two. The second part of the class is a hands-on workshop with plant stencils where you will create a plant map in real time, available on Friday, October 24th or Saturday, October 25th.
